A refined architecture,
one that embodies a timeless elegance,
creates a symbiosis with its surroundings,
and allows its inhabitants to come Home in peace.
The origin of my story as an architect stems from three sources. My foundation lies in being raised in a house that exudes warmth and coziness, both familial and architectural, which gave me the essential notion of what it means to have a Home.
The landscape in which I grew up, namely Oosterzele and the surrounding Flemish Ardennes, whose rolling hillscapes, old deciduous forests and hidden country roads left behind a profound love for the timeless, tranquility and nature.
And finally, my inner child has always had an unceasing urge not only to discover the surrounding landscape but to conceive, fantasize and create new ones in which buildings and nature merge seamlessly.
From a young age, these pillars instilled in me a genuine passion for creating worlds, whereby becoming an architect ultimately became a logical extension of this. After completing my studies at KU Leuven - Faculty of Architecture in Ghent with distinction, I first gained my years of experience at Objekt Architecten, Hanne & Sam Architecten, and the renowned Havana Architectuur.
